So recently I purchased Minecraft for Mac after playing PE for the past year. Valeros is only one reason (and probably the tipping reason) why I purchased it. And so everyone knows, I only play Survival. I've done creative to figure out some redstone mechanics and play with my 5 year old, because she's 5. Not too into Survival yet. Mostly just destroys what I've built.

Well, thought I'd share my first build on Mac. My Base Tower. It's still rough. Still needs the soffit filled in and beams and braces to make it look like it's a structure. At the base is my little hut dug into the hill side with a hallway leading to the base of the tower.

Hope it stands up to the pro Minecraft builders.

Off to the right I plan a rope/suspension bridge across the gorge.

    Thanks for checking it out.

    Thanks guys.

Been playing on PE for the past year, so not exactly new at the building. But watch some YT to get some ideas and try them out.

Here's a look at the bridge. I'm raising the top rope one block so it's currently higher on the left side. Need to finish that.

Filled in the soffit. Picked a nice contrasting Birch to the Spruce.

Just can't figure out what I want to do with beams and support struts in the roof. Thought about adding some Birch here too for contrast.

tricky roof, you have a round room and a square roof, If I was you, challange yourself and play around a bit getting a round roof, it's a bit harder but you earn some new things along the way which will help you greatly!

For the rest keep up the good work!

Ha! First attempt at a round turret. Had always done squares or fire towers with flat roofs. I did enjoy cutting it into the hill side. It was also my first attempt at a pyramid style roof. Mine are standard triangular prisms. I could start cutting in the corners a bit. I did like the creating the mid-roof gap and leaving the center open letting in the natural light.

Took mini-vacation and didn't have my computer with me. I should be hoping back on soon to do some more work.
